Family Day Fun Run/Walk a massive success
The fit and even the unfit gathered at The Grove Mall on Monday to take part in a Family Day event that will be remembered for years to come.
Young and old gathered at The Grove Mall on Monday to take part in the Family Day Run/Walk held in aid of Sungardens hospice.
There were smiles all around and not even the early morning chill could keep the thousands at bay. Professional athletes, unfit parents and children – young and old got together to do their part for those in need.
Many Pretorians spent their Family Day in true family style, taking part in the 5km, 10km and 21km routes together. The event kicked off at The Grove Mall and was in partnership with The Grove Mall, Pick n Pay, Run/Walk for Life, Athletics Gauteng North and Rekord Newspaper.
