Ofentse Riba:
New Zealand are not that good, they won because we didn't play to our potential, we lost the game because of Farhaan Berhadien. He didn't communicate with JP Duminy and it cost us the game when they failed to catch that ball.

After the Proteas crashed out of the World Cup, most cricket fans around Pretoria were satisfied with the way they played against New Zealand, but a few felt they were not good enough to win the tournament.
Here’s what they had to say about Proteas’ semi-final exit.
Darren Pather:
We played well, there’s no reason to be ashamed. The boys made the country proud. Tuesday’s match was definitely the best match of this World Cup. Unfortunately we didn’t win but we can’t blame anyone. At least we finally won a knockout-game.
Abrie Schuman:
That game was not fair. The Duckworth Lewis method is crap and we lost seven overs due to rain. That rain took away de Villiers’ opportunity to score big runs. New Zealand won because of the rain, I believe.
Dian Snyman:
We didn’t choke this time, but I think the better team won at the end of the day. Grant Elliott was brilliant and those dropped catches cost us.
Raymond Hundermark:
The management team made a blunder by bringing in Philander over Abbott. Abbott was the man in form while Philander was injured. I also think it was a bad choice to bring in Dale Steyn to bowl the last over, Morne Morkel could have been the better option. Overrall they didn’t deserve to win because they lost two games in the group stages.
Aluwani Simetsi:
The game was crazy, it was like a final before the final. We expected fireworks and we got it. A big yes to AB De Villiers for putting up such a big performance. He had the weight of the country on his shoulders and he did well.
Sihle Madikane:
The openers have let us down in this tournament especially Hashim Amla. I still don’t understand why Vernon Philander was picked over Kyle Abbott but I believe we never had the squad to win the World Cup.
Sibusiso Zulu:
I think the team selection was not okay in that game. We also didn’t have a good game because the rain destroyed our momentum. In general, New Zealand was lucky in that game because we missed a lot of chances.
