Mayor meets business leaders

Executive Mayor of City of Tshwane, Cllr. Kgosientso Ramokgopa, addressed business leaders on the opportunities in the city at a dinner in the mayoral guest house on Tuesday.

The cream of Pretoria’s business crop rubbed shoulders with the city fathers last night at a prestigious mayoral business dinner with Tshwane executive mayor Kgosientso Ramokgopa and members of the mayoral committee.

The event was hosted at the mayoral guest house in Muckleneuk and aimed at establishing a business climate conducive to inclusive long-term growth for the city. It also served as a build-up to the city’s inaugural investor summit which takes place on Thursday.

In addition to providing guests the opportunity to network with Tshwane metro leaders and other businessmen and entrepreneurs, Ramokgopa engaged guests on the prospects of strategic partnerships and bankable investment opportunities within the capital.

Councilor Subesh Pillay, MMC for economic development and planning in Tshwane, spelt out investment opportunities and incentives offered by the city to businessmen wanting to invest in Pretoria.
