Good vibes at market in CBD

Local entrepreneurs display their products at the First Market at the Shed in the CBD.

Art, food, music and designs were displayed at the First Market at the Sheds in the Pretoria CBD on Saturday.

A creative, vibrant and cosmopolitan space was created in an old warehouse to enable people to unwind, network and trade on Stanza Bopape Street.

Mareli Wassenaar, programme director of First Market said: “This is an initiative of Capital Collective of people and organizations who want to leverage the influence, knowledge, skills, resources and passion of people to make the city revival a reality.”

“Market @Shed showcase local talent, produce and facilitate a culture that is inclusive of everyone, regardless of race and geographic location,” said Wassenaar.

“It will also encourage economic activity by make a space available where entrepreneurs can market and sell their products,” said Wassenaar.
