Mauled student warned not to enter tiger enclosure

The student who had been mauled to death on Tuesday by a white tiger at a zoo in New Delhi, India, had apparently been warned numerous times by onlookers to keep a safe distance from the tiger’s enclosure.

According to reports, the student climbed over the a knee-high fence, through a small hedge and jumped into the tiger’s enclosure.

According to CNN the victim, only known as Maqsood, is aged between 19-20.

Immediate details about the tiger were not yet available.
