Women share some health and fashion tips

As part of celebrating Women’s Day, some women gathered at the Farm Inn Country Hotel in Silverlakes under the auspice of the Worship Centre Community Church.

Co-ordinator of the event, Mapula Setwaba, said the main objective was to remind women of all ages of their infinite worth by introducing them to different styles of fashion and discuss certain health topics.

She said they thought of celebrating this year’s event in an informative way and empower the women with knowledge.

Another woman who helped to plan the event, Zodwa Mokhare, gave an informative talk  about the importance of planning ahead for the future in terms of having investments and insurance.

Another speaker, Tshidi Manie, said it is important for women to take care of themselves and that they should make an effort when dressing up as this boosts one’s self-esteem and confidence.
