Super Saturday held at Moeggesukkel

Residents enjoyed delicious boerewors rolls and had their cars washed.

On Saturday Rekord attended a Super Saturday event held at Moeggesukkel in Erasmus Street, Raslow. The public had their cars washed and got a tasty boerewors roll for R35.

What really makes Super Saturday special is that all the money that is raised go to the residents of Moeggesukkel.

“It inspires the residents to develop new products that they sell on open days. Part of the money also goes into business development. Some of the money is also deposited into a savings account, for the first month’s rent or to buy furniture for residents who want to move into their own place.”

“It also funds fun activities, entertainment or goes towards any other specific need of the residents. We do not use it for anything else. A group of Moeggesukkel residents get together to decide what they want to do, and then we do it.”

“We would like to personally invite you to come and see what   Super Saturday is all about on 30 August. You will not be disappointed. It   starts at 09:00 and ends around 13:00.”
