SCHOOL: Two generations coming together in love

The learners recited a poem at the event and sang songs, which they had prepared specifically for residents.

Thursday, 16 August was an exceptional day for the Grade R learners at Hatfield North Christian Academy (HNCA) when they visited Eden retirement village.

It was a special occasion for the retirement village residents as well.

After all, it’s not every day that two generations have the chance to come together, enjoy music, dance and simply hug each other.

The learners recited a poem at the event and sang songs, which they had prepared specifically for residents.

After this, the Grade Rs handed out the gift bags they had personally packed.

HNCA principal Mrs. J Neuper shared some inspiring words and thanked the residents for opening their doors to the school.

After this they prayed together and ended with a tea provided by HNCA.
