SCHOOL: Lynnies talent show a success

“Learners had to put on a costume of their favourite wild animal.”

Laerskool Lynnwood held yet a successful talent show on Friday.

Lynnies from Grade 1 to Grade 3 took part in the Mr and Miss Kasparie, while Grade 4 to Grade 7 learners took part in the Mr and Miss Lynnie.

School spokesperson Riana Loggenberg said the theme for this year was “Lynnies on Safari”, where Madagascar, wildlife or game conservation could be depicted.

“Learners had to put on a costume of their favourite Madagascan animal,” said Loggenberg.

The show was judged by Dewald Wasserfall, Ampie, Nastassja Pretorius, Lynné de Jager, Herman Rolfes and Inge Viljoen.

The event was made possible by learners in the executive committee, with the help from their parents.

Lynnies had fun in the hall while Ampie and Dewald Wasserfall entertained them with songs.
