EFF mass march to turn Pretoria red

EFF president Julius Malema said the march would encompass a number of issues including free education.

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) will be protesting in the Pretoria CBD on Thursday.

According to EFF president Julius Malema, the mass march will be for a number of issues, including:

– That South African government provides free higher education from 2018 onwards.

– Jacob Zuma must step down as president of SA.

– The Gupta family must immediately leave South Africa.

– The national director of public prosecutions Shawn Abrahams must step down.

The EFF will also march on the Israeli embassy to demand that Palestine be “freed”.

Malema said: “Maybe the only thing they will listen to is militant action. Every street in Pretoria must be occupied.”

Tshwane metro police confirmed that plans were in place for the march on Thursday, but had no further details.
