Pretoria to be hot in voting day

Bring out your hats and carry some water as you head out to make your mark at polling stations.

Pretoria residents have been urged to bring out their hats and stay hydrated as they head to voting stations on Monday.

The South African Weather Service has predicted a hot day with clear skies for the capital.

“Tomorrow is going to be mostly clear skies over Pretoria,” said Kumsa Masizana forecaster at the weather service.

“We are expecting warm temperatures starting with a minimum of 14 and a maximum of 30.”

She advised residents to stay hydrated, apply sunscreen, wear a hat or cap to protect themselves from the sun.

Masuzana said Tuesday would also be hot with temperatures of 14 and 28.
