The capital city is a world-class place to call home and we can’t wait to once again give kudos to everything and everyone that contributes to its allure.
The Best of Pretoria readers’ choice awards, after taking a break last year due to Covid-19 and having to adjust to the new way of doing things, are ready for you to once again make your voice heard and applaud local establishments, service providers and products that make Pretoria such an outstanding place to call home.
For almost a decade now we, with the help of our readers, honoured those establishments which Pretorians believe are a cut above the rest and, considering the challenges over the past 18 months, we believe extra praise is in order.

We are talking best in services, of businesses, institutions, restaurants, schools, local hotspots and even local celebrities.
Readers can vote in seven categories, which include: Living in Pretoria, Lifestyle and Shopping, Eat and Drink, Be Merry, Dining Out, Glam it Up and Kids are Cool.
We provide the categories, and you tell us who the winners in each should be.
There are no shortlist or suggestions.
Results are audited and the name with the most votes walks away as the winner – it is as easy as that!
Winners have exclusive bragging rights and will be published in the Rekord Newspapers during the week of 12 November and also on our website. The competition is open and you can start voting right now!
