Abbotts College Centurion trip to Mauritius

The group visited the waterfall, the seven coloured earth and Le Morne Beach.

Abbotts College Centurion recently embarked on a seven day trip to Mauritius to enrich and educate students through an experience of the diverse cultures and intriguing landscape of the island country.

The group enjoyed various North and South excursions.

The North Excursion included a visit to Kwan Tee Pagoda, La Citadel and Central Market, the Pampelmousses Garden, Sugar World and a taste of the local cuisine at Escape Creole.

The South offered Trou aux Cerfs, a panoramic view of a large part of the island, and the Black River Gorges to the south west.

The group visited the waterfall, the seven coloured earth and Le Morne Beach.

A trip on a catamaran to Ile aux Cerfs, included a visit to Waterfalls Grand Riviere Sud Est and a day of hiking and zip lining at Domaine de l’Etoile gave the group a bird’s eye view of the surrounding paradise.

A truly enriching experience which will be treasured by the group who formed new friendships and gained a new perspective on life.
