Two robbed on Cullinan farm

The robbers tied up a domestic worker and the farm owner's daughter before fleeing with valuable house items.

A farm owner’s daughter and a domestic worker were robbed at gunpoint in Cullinan on Wednesday.

Police spokesperson Constable Connie Moganedi said this happened on a farm in Bynnespoort.

“Around 11:15, two suspects got into one of the plots in the area and found the domestic worker and her employer’s daughter inside,” she said.

“They pointed a firearm at the women, tied them before locking them up inside the bathroom.”

Moganedi said the two left with some house items and garden tools, a cellphone and a laptop.

“No injuries were reported. Anyone with any information is requested to kindly report to SAPS Crime Stop line 08600- 10111 or Cullinan SAPS 012-734-0751.”
