Informative publication to help students around the city

Be sure to look out for the latest issue of Student Living, available on streets in Pretoria on 27 July.

Student Living is a new quarterly publication full of information on student living and entertainment in the Jacaranda City that is available for your convenience.

Student Living focuses on significant issues surrounding your decision to live and study in our nation’s capital. Its second issue will be available on streets in Pretoria on Friday, 27 July 2018.

Every year university students come from various parts of South Africa, flooding the capital city in pursuit of higher education. Finding accommodation, entertainment facilities, and other amenities is often left to the very last minute, resulting in a frantic rush. It is during these times when wrong decisions are made, resulting in scammers capitalising on the desperation of the students.

Capital Media, the publishers of Rekord newspaper has decided to help students through this new publication.

Student Living was launched with one objective in mind: to give students a credible source of information about every aspect of being a student in the capital city,” says Capital Media business manager Chris Mcinga.

“The first issue focused more on accommodation, as it is difficult to settle in in the early months of the year. This issue will focus on lifestyle and things you need to know about pushing through with your studies this year.”

“We would like to thank local businesses for their support. The interest shown by businesses in and around the Pretoria campuses show that they identify a target market can be reached through Student Living.”

The publication will be available to students around their campus, student residents and areas where they go shopping.

Student-related advertising opportunities are also available through this publication.

Anyone interested in advertising is urged to contact Nicole du Randt to get advice on how to feature in this new publication.
