“Daddy you were our whole life. We will miss you a lot.”
These were the words of the slain Bronkhorstspruit farmer’s family as they reflected on the attack in which he died and his son was injured.
Koos Benadie was stabbed seven times during the attack in yhd famiky farm on Wedesnday.

His son Allewyn, was shot in the upper body when he arrived at the scene in an attempt to assist his father. He is receiving medical treatment in hospital, said AfriForum’s national operations co-ordinator Marius Miller.
The seven attackers who invaded the farm allegedly demanded money and took a vehicle which was later recovered.
Johanna Benadie wrote on social media that her father-in-law meant the world to the family and would be dearly missed.

“Daddy you were our whole life we will miss you a lot. With lots of love from your sons, Allewyn, Chris, your wife Duifie, daughter in-laws Petro, Brenda and grandchildren,” wrote Johanna.
