An elderly man has been killed on his Bronkhorstspruit farm after being attacked by a gang of seven men on Wednesday.
“He was stabbed in the chest and died on the scene,” AfriForum national operation co-ordinator Marius Miller said.
Miller said a young man, believed to be the elderly man’s son, arrived at the scene in an attempt to assist the deceased.

“He was shot, but it was a flesh wound,” he said.
The seven attackers who invaded the farm were said to be armed with knives and hand guns.
“They demanded money and took a vehicle,” Miller said.

He said the vehicle was later recovered.
“We’re waiting for more information from the police,” Miller said.
