UPDATE: Still no arrests in east girl’s murder – almost 3 years later

The police still busy with the investigations in connection with the death of Zinhle Ndala.

It is almost three years later and police have still made no arrests in the suspected murder of a nine-year-old Mamelodi East girl.

The little girl, Zinhle Lizzy Ndala, went missing on 4 January 2015 after playing with some friends outside.

Her decomposed body was found several weeks later in a storm-water drain next to Rethabile sports grounds, a few blocks from her home.

The police could only confirm that it was actually Zinhle’s body after the post-mortem examination.
