Bronkhorstspruit man accused of rape, bestiality appears in court

"If found guilty, the employer must pay dearly for his evil and barbaric acts,”

A man accused of raping his domestic worker appeared in the Bronkhorstspruit magistrate’s court on Thursday.

The 45-year-old man allegedly dragged his domestic worker into a room where he raped her until the early hours of the next day. It was also alleged that the accused forced his victim to perform sexual acts on his dog.

Police spokesperson Mavela Masondo said the police would seek to ensure justice for the victim and her family. “If found guilty, the employer must pay dearly for his evil and barbaric acts,” he said.
