I’m a disappointed resident of Dan Tloome Mega City. I feel like people were made to believe that their previous places of residence were not conducive to the current Dan Tloome. The truth of the matter is that Dan Tloome is far worse.

The only thing Dan Tloome brings to the people is mere walls. There are no proper government services for the people and not even an office to report something whenever you have an urgent problem inside these walls we stay in.

As I speak, I have a problem with water that needs to be attended to by a plumber but there’s no plumber. I’ve been trying to find someone to report the matter since Monday, October 9 but my attempts are all in vain.

My daily routine now is to wake up every two hours and wipe water on the floor because nobody is willing to intervene. How much water has already gone to waste since that week? Who is going to be paying for that amount of unused water? Most of these so-called ‘houses’ are faulty and still need a lot of maintenance as there are leaks, cracks, lights, plugs, etc.

The only thing that the municipality is doing right is sending big bills and SMSs to the people.

What are we paying for?
