A twilight world of shame , threats and silence
On a wet and stormy night, successful Bloemfontein businessman, Danie du Toit, is awakened by the ringing of the front doorbell.
Half asleep, he stumbles down the passage, switches on the porch light and opens the front door. He sees a slim, rain-drenched figure with her back turned towards him.
She turns and he is taken aback when he recognises her face as that of his step-daughter who he has not seen in years. It’s me, Anna, she says coldly, her voice filled with hatred. Then she raises a pistol .
