Crime is an unfortunate fact of daily life in Randfontein.

The Randfontein Community Policing Forum has thus far played a key role in helping to bring down the levels of crime in neighbourhoods throughout Randfontein through their various and ongoing awareness campaigns as well as through regular community patrols in areas where they can muster enough support from the local community.
