Alexandra Mooketsi (14) currently plays attacking midfielder and left wing at the Greenhills Super Tiger Football Club and dreams of becoming the next Paulo Dybala – an Argentine footballing star.
Alex started his football journey when he was in Grade Four. After seeing a group of boys playing football at the club, he knew he wanted to further his aspirations in the sport.
His biggest motivation is the encouragement from his mother. He said that his mother wanted to see him on TV one day. Alex also said that his motivation is looking up to Paulo Dybala since he sees the footballer as a strong player who scored many goals.
Alex is most proud of his first match where he wore the Captain’s Belt and was the youngest player.
“Always be proud of the thing you love doing most. I appreciate the team and my coach,” Alex concluded.
