“It was very nice to see a lot of support. The stadium was nearly full and it was great to see. We also held a moment of silence following the passing of Leon Hefer, a famous businessman in town.”
Lulu Kleyn, Randfontein Rugby Club manager added, “We all at Randfontein Rugby Club are very proud of every player that participated in the Lions Club Challenge. It was a great exercise experience before the league starts in April. It feels wonderful to have claimed another trophy for the Club. We plan to have the tournament again in 2024 and then we would like to take it all.”
