“I chose to volunteer in my community for four years where I was grooming, mentoring, and supporting young girls through netball. Little did I know that someone will recognise the efforts and energy that I put into my work. I voluntarily worked under the Department of Sports, Arts, Culture, and Recreation hosting the Community Games which are better known as Easter Tournaments annually in my community of Greater Westonaria.

“My love and passion for sports made me content with serving my community even if I was not getting compensation throughout the four years.
