On top of the dancing world!

Management of the Trinity Dance Company said they are committed to helping their dancers achieve exceptional standards in various styles.

Dancing is therapeutic as it benefits the mind, body and soul. Management of the Trinity Dance Company said people could benefit from it immensely.

“By combining a variety of acrobatics, acrobatic sport and tumbling, and contemporary, one can truly reap the benefits dancing has to offer,” said Xenia Terblanche, co-owner of TDC studio.

She added dancing in any form teaches people good discipline and creativity – it stimulates one mentally and physically.

“You can focus on building a solid foundation of dance techniques with an emphasis on proper placement and safe progression of movement, while remaining sensitive to the physical and emotional developmental needs to assist in reaching the highest potential,” Xenia said.

Attending dance classes regularly benefits everyone, children in particular.

“They can learn how to express themselves through dance. At our studio, we also create a sense of community, because it’s a place where they can feel they belong and just be themselves,” Xenia said.

“It is very entertaining and fun. We provide our students with the necessary training and emotional support, and subsequently give them the opportunity to reach for their dreams and achieve greatness.”

Elmie and Xenia, who founded the company in 2016, said they mainly focus on acrobatics, acrobatic sport and tumbling, contemporary and even junior hip hop in conjunction with the main dance styles.
