New kit for West Rand Soccer Academy, thanks to funeral parlour

Kits for the boys were sponsored by TVNB Manzi Funeral Parlour.

The West Rand Soccer Academy kicked off a new sponsorship in some style at the unveiling of their new kit sponsored by local TVNB Manzi Funeral Parlour in Pelzvale on Saturday, 20 March.

Lucille Manzi, one of the organisers said the new regalia was a gift from the funeral home, which is now the official sponsor of the West Rand Soccer Academy.

“This partnership is to ensure the boys continue to play soccer. It was an emotional occasion and fulfilling to see the joy in the eyes and smile on the faces of the players wearing their new regalia,” said Lucille.

Lucille’s message to the community is that nothing is impossible if you put your mind to it.

“Let’s support our children to ensure a better and brighter future for them. Sometimes, we don’t have to understand the other person’s passion, but we just need to show our support and care.”

Her message to the players is that they are their own jail and their own bail, and they should never limit themselves when it comes to achievement.

“Your success starts in your mind, then you need to work hard to achieve it. Soar the skies!”
