Randfontein Rugby Club’s new AGM date announced

Randfontein Rugby Club announces new AGM date in April after it was postponed in January.

Randfontein Rugby Club’s annual general meeting (AGM) will take place at 7pm in the clubhouse on Friday, 9 April. The AGM, which originally was scheduled for Friday, 22 January, had to be postponed due to the coronavirus regulations.

Lulu Klein, the club manager, confirmed at the time that due to the numbers at these meetings, they did not want to expose the members, players and community to possible infections.

She now invites the whole community to the meeting on 9 April and would appreciate their attendance and input.

“Johan Cronje, the club chairperson will reflect on the year’s events at the club. He appeals to the public to propose candidates for election to the new committee. The position of vice-chairperson is also vacant,” she said.

ALSO ON THE AGENDA:

• Electing new committee members for 2021

• Introducing the coaches for 2021

• The financial report for 2020
