Successful end to special Women’s Month outreach in Mohlakeng

SPAR Proteas assistant netball coach and her Dumisani Chauke Netball Foundation uplifts the Mohlakeng community.

Dumisani Chauke, SPAR Proteas assistant coach and her foundation, Dumisani Chauke Netball Foundation (DCNF), concluded their successful five-stop SPAR feme pack handovers at the Mohlakeng Tennis Court in Randfontein on Sunday, 30 August.

Over 100 deserving netball players were given feme packs sponsored by SPAR in Mohlakeng. In total Dumisani Chauke and her foundation distributed 500 feme packs to netball players in five Gauteng regions namely Tshwane, Ekurhuleni, Johannesburg, Sedibeng and West Rand throughout August.

“Here’s to strong women in sport. May we raise them. May we empower them. May we be them,” Dumisani said.

“Let us be, to those coming after us, the role models we needed when we were growing up. Do what you can, with what you have.”
