Mentor and coach at the Greenhills Soccer Academy, Bongani Ace Duiker, said during holidays, many children have a lot of time on their hands and in some cases may get up to no good.
“At times, they get themselves into harmful situations. If they do not invest their time in anything beneficial, bad things could happen. Even if it isn’t soccer, try and keep your kids active in some way. There are many other activities parents/ guardians can consider to keep their kids busy, safer and away from the bad things that they may get exposed to in society,” Bongani said.
