Toekies hosts major swimming qualifier
Swimmers from a number of clubs gave it their all during a swimming event that served as qualifier for the Gauteng regional games in Toekies during the weekend.
The Toekomsrus Saint Dolphins Swimming Club held a swimming event as qualifier for the Gauteng regional games and place in the Soncini Aquatics team at the Toekomsrus Swimming Pool on Saturday, 5 October.
The Gauteng regional games are scheduled to take place on 26 and 27 October. From here, swimmers could be selected to represent SA and compete against other countries.
A number of clubs participated, including Toekies’ Saint Dolphins Swimming Club, Mohlakeng Swimming Club and Carletonville Swimming Club.
There was a big turnout and everyone enjoyed the event.
