Alexander and his horse win big

Alexander Massingue from the Little Acres Equestrian Centre and Little Acres Litigator were showstoppers at the Autumn Gold Cup 2019 Annual Showing Show.

A horse carer at Little Acres Equestrian Centre recently won his class at a very prestigious horse show.

Alexander Massingue is employed as a groom at the Little Acres Equestrian Centre. He and his horse, Little Acres Litigator, won the Show Hunter in-hand showing class at the Autumn Gold Cup 2019 Annual Showing Show at Inanda Country Base in Kyalami on Saturday, 25 May.

“Alexander has always believed in empowering himself by constantly learning and developing in his area of expertise,” said Shelley de Beer, owner of the centre.

Alexander began working with Little Acres Litigator when he was a wild, young horse they had bought off a farm. Shelley said he was still untouched by humans when Alexander came into his life.

“Through undying determination and perseverance, Alexander trained and taught this horse to the stage when he was ready for his first show,” she added.
