According to their trainer, Shihan Henk Pelser, a few members of this club recently took part in various fights and challenges, and excelled all the way.

“Ochem Patrick recently took part in the Durban Shidokan Fight where he lost one fight but beat his second opponent by TKO in the fourth round. Luca Paoli also won by TKO in Round 3. Both Tristan Desfountain and Willem Kruger gave their best but unfortunately lost by TKOs during their fights; however, Humphrey Mohlalh won in the fifth round of his fight,” Henk said.

This was the club’s first tournament in Durban and there are many to come. These fighters are busy training to compete in a tournament in Meyerton on 1 June.

“Some of the club’s members also took part in the LegendRunner 2019 in Hartbeespoort, where they exceeded expectations.”

Henk said that he is very proud of each member of the Mile High Kickboxing and Shidokan Gym and that they are all destined for great things.
