Sports challenge at Avante

Avante Primary School went head to head against Laerskool Venterpost and Laerskool Dagbreek in a soccer and netball challenge on Thursday, 2 May on Avante’s playing fields.

According to the coordinator of the programme, Yvette van Niekerk, Avante did not fare as well as expected on the netball fields, and only drew two of their matches.

Avante’s soccer coordinator, Richard Meyer, said Avante performed fairly well. “The U/11s drew nil-all, the U/12s lost by 3–2, and the U/13s won by 2–1.”
