Gauteng’s premier stage race coming to the West Rand

More than 200 mountain bikers will rally up for a three-day stage race, the Glacier Cradle Traverse MTB Challenge – right in the heart of Gauteng this April.

In less than a month more than 200 mountain bikers will rally up for a three-day stage race – right in the heart of Gauteng.

The Glacier Cradle Traverse Mountain Bike Challenge has fast become a favourite for adventure-seekers in the province.

According to a statement released by Carli Ann Smith, riders will camp in style at the Avianto Lifestye Estate from 5 to 7 April – the perfect base from which to explore the iconic trails of the Cradle of Humankind.

Exclusive routes will be made available that extend into Muldersdrift and adjacent estates and conservancies, with breathtaking views and the possibility of game encounters in store.

“Not only does the event provide a getaway close to home, but serves as the ideal networking opportunity for business owners in the area. The cherry on the top is certainly the daily entertainment available for children, so little adventurers need not be left at home.”
