Entries open for FNB Magalies Monster MTB Classic

Entries have opened for the 17th annual FNB Magalies Monster MTB Classic and the 7th annual FNB Platinum Trail Run taking place in June.

Entries have opened for the 17th annual FNB Magalies Monster MTB Classic, and the 7th annual FNB Platinum Trail Run to take place at the ATKV Buffelspoort on Saturday, 1 June and Sunday, 2 June respectively.

These two premier off-road events will leave entrants begging for more, according to the organisers.

Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports said, “It’s the perfect weekend breakaway for families. Both events cover the best off-road routes on offer in the North West. Whether mountain biking or trail running, both events possess a perfect balance between challenge and reward.”

He added that the challenge features three entry options. Mountain bikers can choose between three routes of +/–16km, +/–33km and +/–65km respectively, while trail runners can choose can choose between distances of +/–8km, +/–12km and +/–24km.

“For an added challenge, why not sign up for both the Mountain Bike and Trail Run events. We are excited to introduce a Kids 2,5km race to both the FNB Magalies Monster MTB Classic and the FNB Platinum Trail Run in 2019. Families can look forward to experiencing spectacular trails that are complemented by magnificent scenery and a vibrant festival atmosphere.”
