Local dance studio reaching for the stars

Trinity Dance Company started out in a small space at Randfontein Golf Club with only a handful of members but soon had to relocate to bigger premises in order to accommodate the growing numbers of dancers.

R’fonteiners will soon be able to see dancers from the local Trinity Dance Company (TDC) on DSTV’s channel 146.

Six dancers from this dance studio participated in KykNet’s Dans In Jou Taal competition which will soon be broadcast to more than 500 000 people. The dancers entered as a team and went on to the finals where they won their category. They were also the winners and champions of the episode in which they performed.

TDC was founded by Elmie Terblanche and two lifelong dance partners in 2016. It started out in a small space at Randfontein Golf Club with only a handful of members but soon had to relocate to bigger premises in order to accommodate the growing numbers of dancers.

“TDC specialises in the dance style Acrobatics and Dance Tumbling and we currently consist of 29 local aspirant dancers, aged from five to 18 years.
