What not to miss in sport this weekend!

Here’s what’s happening in the sporting world on 28 and 29 July.

The Herald has compiled a list of some must-see sporting action to be broadcast on television on Saturday, 28 July and Sunday, 29 July.

SATURDAY, 28 JULY:

• Rugby:

It’s the business end of this year’s Super Rugby tournament when the semifinals take place on Saturday only. First to be in action are the Crusaders and Hurricanes in an all-New Zealand affair at 9.30am, followed by SA and Australia’s only hope of lifting the trophy, the Lions and Waratahs at 2pm.

Also catch two school teams namely Grey High School against Grey College go head to head at 12.55pm and Selborne against Queens College at 2.40pm.

• Hockey:

Don’t miss a single match of the 13th edition of the Women’s Hockey World Cup in London this weekend! South Africa will be in action at 2.45pm against Argentina.

• Third ODI between West Indies and Bangladesh (cricket) at 3.15pm

• Qualifying rounds of the Formula One Grand Prix in Hungary (motorsport) from 2.55pm

SUNDAY, 29 JULY:

• Cricket:

The Proteas would want to make up for their disastrous Test Series performance against Sri Lanka (after being whitewashed 2–0) when the two teams lock horns in the First ODI at 6.10am on Sunday.

• Lightweight unification bout between Mikey Garcia and Robert Easter Jr (boxing) from as early as 4am

• Stage 21 of the Tour de France (cycling) from 4pm

• Day four of the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPG) Scottish Open (golf) from 4pm

• Day four of the PGA Canadian Open (golf) from 8pm

• Main race of the Formula One Grand Prix in Hungary (motorsport) at 3.05pm

• KwaZulu-Natal Premier’s Cup final (football) from 2.55pm
