Young rugby players wanted

Randfontein Youth Rugby Club is growing great talent, including some future Boks.

Randfontein Youth Rugby Club is looking for eager youngsters to play the game this season.

The club has been in existence since 2009, and focuses on player development and a healthy lifestyle for all players between the ages of seven and 18.

The club’s first priority is to keep all youngsters active and involved in sports. Each player is given an equal opportunity to develop his skills during practices and matches. The club is affiliated to the Golden Lions Rugby Union (GLRU) and abides by their ethics, regulations and code of conduct. The teams will play against 14 other GLRU teams during the 2017 season, with all matches being played at a central venue.

The U/11 rugby players all love playing the game.

Practice sessions started during the first week in June, but players of all ages are still welcome to register.

All the club’s coaches are Boksmart registered, and have completed several IRB coaching courses, and player safety is of utmost importance.
