Westonaria Karate Club goes for gold!

Westonaria Karate Club participated in two major competitions and excelled.

A number of karateka from the Westonaria Karate Club have made the town proud.

They participated in and excelled at the International Kanazawa Cup held in Durban in April, and in the Arnold Classic South Africa event held in early May at the Sandton Convention Centre.

The following students fought fearlessly in the Kanazawa Cup to rack up the most sought-after Shotokan Karate South African medal: Luciano Enzo Pillay, Jacodean van Tonder, Ntokozo Shelembe, Ntando Shelembe, Hayden Markotter, Steven Wild, Ethan Venter, Ruan Delarey van Tonder, Aseza Makanda, Thando Makanda, Christel Pruis, Okuhle Makanda, Bokamoso Makhukhwane, Kutlwano Marumo, Yamkela Gwale, Rickus Rossouw, Thando Makanda and Rudolph Sadler.
