Comrades seminar coming to the West Rand
Are you a Comrades runner? Race organisers have confirmed a Comrades seminar will be held on the West Rand on 25 January.
You’ve entered and qualified for The Comrades, South Africa’s premier ultra-marathon. This is a race like no other and you will need determination, grit and proper training to get you across the finish line in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday, 4 June.
Luckily, in the true spirit of this race, you are never alone. Race organisers have teamed up with the major sponsor, Bonitas Medical Fund, to host a number of educational, motivational and inspirational seminars targeted specifically at novice athletes, female runners and general Comrades participants across the country that will see you through to the finish of the 86,7km race.
The Bonitas Comrades Seminars are free of charge and give runners the opportunity to interact with the official Comrades Coach and other experts as they share information, answer questions and give advice in order to help you achieve your Comrades goals.
There will be a seminar held at the Golden Reef Road Runners Club situated at 8 Andrew Street, Horizon in Roodepoort at 7pm on Wednesday, January 25.
