Boktown celebrates the Springbok victory

The entire crowd held their breath throughout the game.

Kobus van Niekerk and Wietsche van der Westhuizen couldn't wait for the game to start.

Springbok supporters from all over the West Rand flocked to Silverstar Casino’s Boktown on Saturday, 1 October to watch their team beat Australia 18–10 at Loftus Versfeld in the Rugby Championship.

Although all of South Africa’s points consisted of drop goals and penalties, supporters were happy and relieved with the win.

Among the many Bok fans were some guests, namely Cobus Grobbelaar, former Golden Lions captain, loose forward and flank, and Bokkie, the official Springbok mascot.

Remember to mark your diaries for the next game on Saturday, 8 October as the Boks take on the mighty All Blacks.
