This weekend’s sports line-up

Olympics no more, back to the golden oldies.

The 2016 Rio Summer Olympics have ended, which means it’s back to supporting your usual sporting favourites.

South Africa took home 10 medals and was ranked 30th in the world. Cameron van der Burgh won South Africa’s first medal, Caster Semenya won our last medal and Sunette Viljoen became South Africa and the larger Africa’s first #LGBT athlete to win a medal at the Rio Olympics.

These athletes will now go back to their respective South African teams to start preparing for the next Olympics and hopefully take new faces with them.

Support these events this weekend.
