Barnard kickboxing siblings do it again

The Barnard siblings took home gold, silver and bronze at the Arnold Classic.

The Mile High Kickboxing and Shidokan Club once again represented the town in the ring and brought home medals to proudly display.

Jannie Barnard and his sister Jo-Anne represented the town at the Arnold Classic which is a worldwide sports festival. Jannie took gold and silver at the competition and Jo-Anne took bronze.

The event lasts four days and is usually held in Columbus, Ohio, America every spring. This year the Arnold Classic came to South Africa and Arnold Schwarzenegger, world-renowned bodybuilder and actor visited the country for the event.

This is not the first time the Barnard siblings have done outstandingly well in kickboxing. Last month they both took bronze at the South African Boxing Championships in the points and silver in the light-contact categories.
