Support our local boytjies in three different sports this weekend.
Randfontein has many sports clubs that have won major awards both locally and nationally.
These sports teams would make for excellent entertainment over the weekend especially during the school holidays. Sports grounds are also the perfect place to crack open a cold beer and start a fire for a braai with best friends relaxing after a trying week at work.
Cricket:
• Sunday at 9:45am — Sunday Premier vs Old Parktonian at Randfontein Cricket Club (RCC) top field
• Sunday at 9:45am — Second Team (SU1) vs Soweto at RCC bottom field. (The second team are in the running to win the league)
Rugby:
• Saturday at 1.15pm — Teine u.19 vs Union away on Union grounds
• Saturday at 1.15pm — Teine third team vs Union away on Union grounds
• Saturday at 1.40pm — Teine second team vs Union away on Union grounds
• Saturday at 1.40pm — Teine u.21 vs Union away on Union grounds
• Saturday at 4pm — Teine first team vs Union away on Union grounds
Boxing:
• Randgate Boxing Club will be in action in South Hills, Johannesburg on Saturday at 12 noon.
