300 + acrobats to descend to Randfontein for nationals

Annemarie's Academy for Acrobats to host national event in October.

Annemarie’s Academy for Acrobats are over the moon for having been given the nod to host this year’s Integrated Artistic Association of Acrobats of South Africa (Iaaasa National) Championships on local soil.

According to the owner of Annemarie’s Academy for Acrobats, Annemarie de Villiers, the Iaaasa National Championships are scheduled to take place from 6 to 11 October at Randfontein High School (RHS).

“Approximately 300 acrobatic dancers from all over South Africa will flock to Randfontein to take part in this competition. It will be each and every one’s mission to impress the four judges on our panel as well as to take top honours during the championships,” says De Villiers.

She adds that 54 dancers from her academy will compete in this event.

“My acrobats currently are in training and are preparing for this event. I am sure that their hard work will pay off and that they will be a force to be reckoned with during the Iaaasa National Championships,” says De Villiers.

De Villiers also encourages Randfontein residents to become part of the success of this event by sponsoring and attending the championships.

“We are very fortunate to host this prestigious event and would appreciate all the help and support we can get from the community,” says De Villiers.
