Flyhalf Elton Jantjies will start at number 10 for the Lions in their Super Rugby clash against the Cheetahs at Ellis Park this Saturday while Marnitz Boshoff moves to the bench.
In other changes to the Lions backline, Lionel Mapoe will start at right wing in the place of Deon van Rensburg and Andries Coetzee (returning from injury) comes in at fullback for Coenie van Wyk.
In the forward pack, coach Johan Ackerman has gone for consistency. He makes no changes to the group of forwards after last weekend’s 34-17 win over the Rebels.
In a moment of celebration, both Jantjies and Mapoe will celebrate 50 Super Rugby caps on Saturday.
The match starts at 5pm.
