Miners take part in 10km race
Miners in the community enjoys a great road running experience.
Randfontein — GoldOne Mining hosted a 10 kilometer as well as a five kilometer road race on 9 March and invited all mining houses to participate in this fun filled experience.
The event was a great success and miners from all mining companies participated in this exciting road race.
The race started at the Cooke one hostel and participants had to run from there to the finish line at the Cooke three sports grounds within the scheduled time limit.
All the runners gathered at the hostel early morning as the race started a 6.30am and finished at 10.30am.
Mining houses such as Sibanye, Anglo American, Gold Fields, Harmony and GoldOne competed in this fun filled day and made sure that this event was a staggering success.
