According to the owner of Hey Sports International, Mark Hey, the owner of Fitstop Gymnasiun, Nic Charilaou, recently introduced the new self defense initiative.

“Although this new self defence initiavite is a joint venture between Hey Sports and Fitstop Gymnasium, Nathi ‘The Tiger’ Ximba and myself will oversee the launch and development of this initiative,” says Mark.

Nathi Ximba is a well-known local fighter and the current World WKF Mauy-Thai Champion.

“I am really looking forward to the self defense classes as I will be teaching my skills to members of the community as a weapon for self defense,” says Nathi.

His long-time coach Mark explains that they decided to start these classes due to the alarming crime statistics and attacks on mainly women and children.

“Kids from as young as 6-years old can now be part of these classes and get the opportunity to train with our local international champion,” says Mark.

Asside from the self defence classes, local amateur fighters can also attend these classes to sharpen their skills and learn new techniques from Nathi.
