The Randfontein Oval Raceway hold at least two monthly races where the competition for first place is allways tough as nails.

According to club secretary, Marie Coetzee, 2014 promises to an action-packed year.

“Our reigning champion Karel Swanepoel is going to have his hands full defending his title,” says Marie.

“He took the most overall points during 2013 and I know that the other racers are keen to knock him off the top spot.

The first race for January promises to be a memorable one with many heart pulsing categories set to take to the track.

“We are very excited to present a Bangers category, which is basically a category for bumping cars. The last one left running wins,” says Marie.

“Of course all the old favourites will be back on the track battling it out for first place.

“There will be a section for quad bikes, hot-rods, and many more.”

Entrance to the races is just R50 per adult and R10 per child under 12.
